A video camera webcasts every action that pertains to my campaigning for, and then holding, office. When you visit the website, WatchTheMayor.com, you are able to see me meet with prospective donors, talk with civic leaders, visit parts of the city, attend public schools in session, etc.

You will see me everywhere. Politics should not happen behind closed doors. I will make decisions based on the needs of real people: the ones who populate our theatres, malls, promenades, rock clubs, factories, diners - our city. You'll be paying my salary. I will listen to you as I would listen to any boss.

More than a campaign tool, the web site is a rich resource of information about city business, and a forum for citizens to speak out on important issues, as well as a place for you to meet the people championing important topics.

l will be the first 100% accountable mayor. I hold a deep belief that some people still seek to hold office to improve society at large. They want to make good decisions, but are quickly held hostage by the people who pay to get them elected. My campaign will enact real campaign finance reform. I will raise and spend a fraction of the money being tossed around by the so-called major candidates in this race. Yet, through my campaign of action, and with the help of the internet, I will convey a more powerful message and get real life results. I will run a forum, rather than a campaign, bypassing traditional media and the money it takes to get air time.

My main concentration is on the following five issues:
Education
Transportation
Police Protection & Reform
Housing & Homelessness
Physical Quality of Life (safe air, water, etc).

Los Angeles does none of these well. Many among us have given up on these pressing issues and I am using this campaign to pose possible solutions to our city´s problems. It will be a FORUM FOR THE PEOPLE and I hope you will join me in the crusade to improve LA.
